Youth Trust Strategic Lead for Primary Awards

The Archbishop of York Youth Trust is pleased to welcome the newest member to join their staff team.

Mrs Rozy Brian has been appointed to take on the role of ‘Strategic Lead for Primary Awards’.  She will be heading up the award at Key Stage 2 working with the 300+ primary schools already signed up to the award as well as leading the future development of the programme.

Rozy studied Primary Education and Theology at York St John University.  After university she worked as a Primary Teacher and more recently as an Education Officer in the museum sector.  In her roles at the National Railway Museum and North Lincolnshire Museums she developed, delivered and promoted a wide range of learning programmes, activities and resources engaging children and young people in creative ways.

Rozy Brian said:

“I am very excited to be joining the team at the Archbishop of York Youth Trust.  I’m looking forward to using the skills and experience I have gained to contribute to the amazing vision of the Trust to reach, engage and empower young people to be the change they want to see.  I can’t wait to see how schools use the Award in their schools and local communities.”

The Archbishop of York said:

“The Young Leaders Awards are an active citizenship resource for schools which encourages leadership in young people from Key Stage 2 and continuing into adult life. I am pleased that Rozy has been able to join us to help develop the award even further.”
